Three report pathways. One framework.
The right report depends on the clarity you need
Each report builds on the one before it. Choose the simplest report that answers your current question — you can go deeper later.
Microbiome Profiling Report™
Baseline composition and diversity for a clear first view of the sample.
- ✓Microbial groups detected in the sample
- ✓Richness, evenness & community balance
- ✓Method notes & interpretation boundaries
A focused choice for baseline microbiome profiling.
Choose this report Explore the Profiling report →View a sample: GutX™ sample · VagiX™ sample
ATLAS Intelligence Report™
ATLAS™ scores, panels, confidence indicators and insight notes over your profile.
- ✓Structured signals derived from sequencing features
- ✓Related scores grouped into biological panels
- ✓A visible confidence cue on every interpretation
- ✓Deeper thematic Insight Packs where compatible
- ✓Longitudinal context to make repeat testing easier
Move from profile data to organized, contextual insight.
Choose this report Explore the Intelligence report →Professional Insights Report™
Extended analytics, evidence layers and technical appendices for advanced review.
- ✓More ways to inspect microbial patterns
- ✓Visible evidence context for interpretation
- ✓Functional context where the sequencing tier supports it
Designed for professional and advanced review contexts. Separate from consumer checkout.

Sample Core Microbiome Profiling Reports
Illustrative profiling reports showing exactly how your composition becomes a clear, transparent read — header, QC, ecosystem overview, ecological panels and methods.
GutX™ Core Profiling
Genus-level composition, diversity, SCFA-associated ecology and opportunist context — with every limit stated on the page.
View sample report →VagiX™ Core Profiling
Genus-level composition, shown alongside the sections still withheld while their science awaits approval.
View sample report →Two different choices
Report depth is not the same as sequencing depth
Report depth is how much interpretation you receive. Sequencing depth is how much molecular resolution the lab measures. You choose both — independently.
Profiling → ATLAS Intelligence → Professional Insight. How structured and contextual the report reads.
16S Foundation™ → WGS Advanced™ → MetaT Functional™. How much molecular detail the lab measures. Availability is method-dependent.
How the pieces fit
Report family is one of several separate choices
Keeping these distinct is what makes the report honest — each answers a different question.
Report family
The output format and interpretation depth you receive.
Product / test
Which ecosystem is sampled — gut, vaginal, oral or skin.
Sequencing method
How much biological data is captured (16S / WGS / MetaT).
Package
How much of that data is interpreted into scores and panels.
Insight Pack
An optional themed module added on top, where compatible.
Professional Insight
A separate professional/research layer, not consumer checkout.
Report section map
Every report is organized the same way
The deeper the package, the more of these sections are populated — but the structure stays consistent, so you always know where to look.
Reports by ecosystem
Same framework, applied to each ecosystem
Each report is written on its ecosystem’s own terms. What changes by sequencing method: 16S gives a community baseline; WGS adds species-level and genomic-potential detail; MetaT adds expression context where quality supports it.
Professional / research layer
Professional Insight is separate from consumer reports
The Professional Insight report layer is scoped with our team for practitioners and research projects, outside normal consumer checkout. It is never added to a consumer report by default.
Explore professional pathways →Responsible interpretation
Wellness education, with the limits shown
Educational, not diagnostic
VAMS BIOME reports are wellness education — they describe your microbiome, not a medical diagnosis or treatment.
Method-bounded
What can be inferred depends on the sequencing method (16S / WGS / MetaT) and sample quality. Boundaries are shown, not hidden.
Context, not certainty
Microbiome patterns describe context and association, read against reference cohorts with confidence indicators — not proof of cause.
Professional care
For symptoms or clinical decisions, speak with a qualified healthcare professional. Reports support understanding; they do not replace medical advice.
Questions
About the reports
Is the report a diagnosis?
No. Every report is educational, wellness-oriented and method-bounded — it describes your microbiome ecology and does not diagnose or treat disease.
What decides how deep my report goes?
Two independent choices: sequencing method (how much data is captured) and report package (how much is interpreted). Insight Packs can add optional themed modules on top.
Where does the professional layer fit?
Professional Insight is a separate professional/research report layer, requested outside consumer checkout — never a default consumer report.
