VAMS BIOME is a microbiome testing and interpretation company. The platform spans at-home sample collection, partner-lab sequencing, bioinformatics processing, and VAMS ATLAS™ — a structured interpretation layer that turns sequencing-derived data into readable, method-bounded reports for consumers and professionals.
The company operates four test products across four human microbiome ecosystems, one interpretation architecture across all of them, and professional pathways for clinicians, laboratories and researchers.

Reports describe microbial composition, diversity and associated microbial features derived from sequencing data. They are educational and wellness-oriented; VAMS BIOME outputs are not used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
Strategic positioning
VAMS BIOME is built as infrastructure rather than a single test: one collection-to-report platform serving consumer wellness, professional and research contexts. The longitudinal model — repeat testing interpreted against the same reference architecture — is central to the product design.
The company pursues two pathways: direct consumer testing across the four ecosystems, and professional/research collaborations with clinics, laboratories and research groups.
Scientific governance
Scientific claims on the platform pass through an internal claim-governance framework: public language is method-bounded, reports carry visible confidence indicators, and prohibited claim classes (diagnosis, cure, prevention, guaranteed outcomes) are enforced by automated content guards in the release pipeline.
Microbiome data handling is privacy-first: data is used to generate the participant’s own insights and is not sold.
