How we work

VAMS BIOME is an India-based team. The working model varies by role — engineering roles are remote/hybrid-friendly within India, while partnership and laboratory roles are field- or site-based — and every posting states its own arrangement. We work collaboratively across engineering, bioinformatics and scientific functions.

Where are roles based?

VAMS BIOME operates in India. Each posting states its own location and working arrangement — engineering roles are remote/hybrid-friendly within India; partnership roles are field-based in their stated territory.

Do I need microbiome experience?

Not for most roles. Engineering and operations roles need engineering and operations depth; the microbiome context can be learned. Scientific roles state their own requirements.

What happens after I apply?

You receive a reference code immediately. The hiring team reviews every application, and contacts you if your experience aligns with the current requirements.

How is my application data handled?

It is used only for recruitment. If your application is unsuccessful or withdrawn, identifiable data and your CV are deleted 180 days after the process ends — unless you separately opt into the 12-month talent pool. Applying never subscribes you to marketing.
